⭐ “Super grateful to Jim for repairing my Steam Deck. My problem was that one of bumper buttons not working. I did some research online and I got a replacement button from somewhere, but the installation required some micro soldering. I brought the plate and the replacement buttons, Jim did a quick check on the plate and confirmed something is wrong with the button. Replacements were from a different device ( Nintendo switch), so not an exact fit, but Jim managed to solder it anyway (pictures attached). It costed me $95 and it was ready the next day. My device is now working properly, however there is a bit of coil whine from repaired side, not sure if it’s because replacement or my reassembly.
