⭐ “Apple locations are always busy. After an hour of troubleshooting over the phone, the Apple Support representative recommended we go to the Genius Bar for advanced troubleshooting methods. Upon arrival, we were checked in, asked to have a seat, and that a technician from the Genius Bar would be right with us. Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with the “advanced troubleshooting” as they were the same troubleshooting steps we performed prior to calling/when chatting with Apple Support over the phone. When we questioned the “advance troubleshooting” procedures the technician stated they didn’t have the equipment on site to determine the point of failure. At this point, we just opted to replace the product. Staff knowledge seemed limited. The technician quoted us the incorrect price multiple times throughout the conversation. Fortunately for us, we caught the errors each time and asked additional but imagine if someone didn’t. They would be charged $50-$100 over the actual cost. Additionally, when I asked about a product and specific specs the technician couldn’t /didn’t know the answer to my question.
