I have an iPhone and I play jetpack joyride quite a bit. Recently, I played too long and my battery died during the middle of a game. I recharged the phone and when I went to reboot the game, it only showed a frozen screen of my game. now I tried to do all the "close app" functions that you do to get background apps shut off, synced to itunes, did a hard reset, and nothing. The app is still frozen. Finally I had enough of it and I deleted the app then re-installed it. I was happy to see that my coins and costumes were all there, but my progress in the game as far as levels and achievements had been reset. What I don't understand is that when I log in to openfeint and look at my achievements, it shows everything I had achieved from the game, except the game isn't recognizing what openfeint has "somewhat" saved. I have spent alot of time on this app and I'd like to get my game data back…any suggestions???

It is not the police officer's job to babysit you on a wild goose chase for your retardedly expansive phone and phone case. Had you taken better care of your property it wouldn't have been taken.
Police officers do care if things are stolen and such but time and resources cannot be wasted on a hunch. Report the phone as stolen (or theft of mislaid property), the first step here is to make a police report regardless of if you get help retrieving it or not. It is increasingly hard to have sympathy for carelessness.
If you are so compelled, go knock on the door to that house. You can ask if the phone is there, but they'll lie to you because honest people don't take things. They'll slam the door in your face and laugh. I'm sorry but it's the facts.
