iPhone 4 won’t turn on?

I was on my iPhone 4 this morning while using my apps.. when all of the sudden it just SHUTS OFF!!
I tried holding the home/Power key multiple times, plugging it into my imac/outlet.. and NOTHING! I cannot afford a new iPhone (even though this one is slightly cracked) Could it be a battery issue? Should I go to the Apple Mac Store? What could they do that won't cost much money?

If you don't turn it off for awhile, You need to call apple or Where ever you got your phone and they will walk you threw for *free*.

Go to the Apple Store. They'll fix anything. But if the problem isn't fixable and your phone cannot be used, buy an Android phone. They're much better with a better OS, and they're also less expensive.
